This is cutting pattern P21 not so commonly encountered. Its arrangement can only really be appreciated from the side view. It has one top circular facet and 6 smaller circular side facets. These are interleaved at the base with six further incomplete circular facets. The 5 panelled millefiore and latticino canes of pale blue and green are particularly finely executed. I find the 1975 signature cane on this particular weight a little obtrusive and could have wished it was placed nearer the edge of the set-up.
