Strathearn Paperweights for Sale at Thursday 28 August
Strathearn turned out a large number of paperweights. Their history is complicated having evolved out of Ysart brothers and Vasart. Many of the standard millefiore weights are good quality, although Strathearn were not so ruthlessly critical as Perthshire and poorer quality ones are around. They were capable of producing very high quality weights and the best attract high prices. The standard weights are good ones to collect because you can still pick up very nice weights for the region of £20-30 (30-50 US$)
